What is PVC Footstep?

PVC Footstep, also known as PVC Manhole Step, PVC Rung, or PVC Encapsulated Footstep, is a modern ladder step used in manholes, underground tanks, and chambers. It consists of a strong steel rod (TMT bar) fully coated or encapsulated with high-grade Virgin PVC (Polypropylene) material.

This coating protects the steel core from rust, corrosion, and chemicals, making it far better than old cast iron or mild steel steps. Standard size is around 265 mm x 165 mm x 25 mm, with steel rods of 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, or even 16mm for heavier loads. Available in bright orange or black colors for high visibility.
