Step-by-Step Installation Process

1. Alignment: Align the pre-drilled holes of two adjacent or overlapping aluminum formwork panels.

2. Insertion: Push the Mivan Stub Pin manually through the aligned holes.

3. Wedge Engagement: Insert the tapered Mivan Wedge (or Patti) into the slot/groove of the protruding stub pin.

4. Tightening: Strike the wedge gently with a hammer or lever. The wedge action draws the panels together, creating a rigid, gap-free connection.

5. Stripping (Removal): Once the concrete cures, tap the wedge out in the reverse direction. Pull out the stub pin, clean it, and store it for the next casting cycle.
