To ensure long-term mechanical reliability and operator safety, proper setup and adherence to Indian standards are essential.
Placement: Place the machine on a level, firm concrete surface. While it does not require deep foundation grouting due to its compact footed design, locking the wheels or heavy positioning is recommended to prevent shifting during high-torque 20mm bends.
Electrical Setup: Connect to a stable 3-phase 415V supply (single-phase 220V custom motors are available upon request). Always check the direction of the rotating disk to ensure it aligns with the control arrows.
Gearbox Lubrication: Before initial startup, fill the heavy-duty reduction gearbox with standard 90-grade gear oil. Running the machine dry will permanently damage the internal bronze gears.
Tooling Setup: Select the correct central mandrel and bending pin sizes relative to your rebar diameter. The gap between the pin and the bar must be adjusted to prevent slipping.
